Here's a basic guide on how to do a manicure at home:
Materials Needed:
  1. Nail polish remover
  2. Cotton pads or balls
  3. Nail clippers
  4. Nail file
  5. Cuticle pusher
  6. Cuticle oil or cream
  7. Hand moisturizer
  8. Base coat
  9. Nail polish of your choice
  10. Top coat
Steps:
  1. Remove Old Nail Polish: Use a nail polish remover and cotton pads/balls to remove any existing nail polish.
  2. Trim and Shape Nails: Use nail clippers to trim your nails to your desired length. Use a nail file to shape them. Common shapes include square, round, oval, or almond.
  3. Soak Your Nails: Soak your fingertips in warm, soapy water for a few minutes to soften the cuticles.
  4. Push Back Cuticles: Gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher. Be careful not to cut them to avoid infection.
  5. Exfoliate: If you have a scrub, gently exfoliate your hands to remove dead skin cells.
  6. Moisturize: Apply cuticle oil or cream to your nails and surrounding skin. Follow it up with a hand moisturizer.
  7. Apply Base Coat: Apply a clear base coat to protect your nails and help the nail polish adhere better.
  8. Apply Nail Polish: Apply your chosen nail polish color in thin, even coats. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next.
  9. Apply Top Coat: Finish with a clear top coat to add shine and protect your manicure.
  10. Clean Up: If you've accidentally painted outside the nail, use a small brush dipped in nail polish remover to clean up the edges.
  11. Final Touch: Allow your nails to fully dry before engaging in any activities.
Remember to take your time and enjoy the process. Feel free to get creative with different nail art or designs if you like!
